After playing Ezmore’s Crystals, I have to say that the game was quite fun and enjoyable. There are many reasons for this, such as the very nice Lego style of the characters, the game being well optimized so there was no lag. The sound effects in the game, especially the voice lines were very well done, and made my experience playing the game better. However, the music could sometimes be a little loud and overwhelming. For me personally, I have always moved in games using either arrows keys, WASD, or a joystick on a controller so the click to move was a bit unintuitive; an option to use arrow keys would have been pretty nice.
In terms of bugs, the only real thing was that the + on the map zoomed out and – zoomed in. Also, after climbing the mountain from out of the village, it’s possible to soft lock yourself outside of the door of the castle. A checkpoint option to go back a little bit and not be softlocked would have been good as well. But other than that, the game was really well made with really nice animations, dialogue, UI, and loading screens!
Ezmore Crystals is a fun adventure game, but I feel like it's very easy to get stuck during quest and get distracted while doing other things. The game is also pretty buggy the movement is also hard to use, most of the time I'm walking into Npcs or walls. How the game saves are also annoying because you can lose a bunch of progress and items because you didn't enter a new area to save. The lack of direction is frustrating when you're trying to get to a quest across the map and get lost and end up going in a circle. I find that enemies can throw you off when doing quests and can be annoying to deal with. The fighting mechanics are ok but having more interactable fights would be better instead. overall Ezmore's Crystals is good game.
Ezmore Crystals is a fun and simple game with a big world to explore and some funny dialogue. I really liked how easy it was to play, and the world itself felt exciting to explore. However, the gameplay, story, and combat started to get repetitive after a while. Once you finish the game, you get stuck in the final room, which was pretty annoying. I think it would be better if you had the option to keep playing with your character or to start a new game. I also noticed a few bugs, like accidentally moving NPCs when I was just trying to talk to them, which got frustrating. It would also be a lot better to have an improved quest navigator. Instead of just showing the destination, it could give directions along the way to help guide you. This would make it easier to figure out where to go next instead of wandering around. Overall, Ezmore Crystals is a good game, but it has some flaws that make it less enjoyable. I’d rate it 7/10.
Ezmore's Crystals review
Ezmore's Crystals is an adventure game in which you have to save a village from evil magicians. I think it was engaging and fun but there are some problems that could be fixed to make it easier and more suitable to the players. First of all, I think that the clicking to navigate through the game was easy and intuitive, even though there were some times where it lagged (walks to the left when you clicked right). I think the objective of the game could be clearer because you will only figure out what is the end mission once you talk to some more NPC's and completed some quests. Also, you can talk to different people at the same time and get many quests without finishing the previous one first, which feels overwhelming because you were trying to complete the other one but now you have more to do. There is a game tutorial at the main menu when you are about to enter the game, however, I think it would be easier to have it into the game as a help button or how to play button to have a quick explanation of the game controls and the game HUD. The second most important problem is the map, I think it is very creative, I have never seen a map that shows you where people are moving in real time but it is not very good when you try to look for the places you have to go to complete your quests. The map also covers some of the missions (the witch at the beginning when she gave the fighting cyclopes quest). I think it would be also useful to have a shortcut key to change weapons as it is not always easy to identify which weapon you will need. and the last problem I found while playing the game is that if you create a new game and you want to go back to the previous one it will not let you. Now, there are also parts were the game was well executed, for example, the background music, sounds, and voice overs. I feel that the music was really good, it was one of the most engaging things and I liked how it changed depending on the area you were on. The sounds of the enemies and some movements were also really good, those little trolls (I think those are the Ogs) sounds were really fun when they attacked you. The voices of some villagers when you passed by were also fun but they were a little repetitive after a while. Another good feature is that is intuitive making it beginner friendly, it has a good HUD that matches the overall theme of the game, it gives you some tips throughout the game so you do not forget what the keys do. It is also easy to navigate because it is just by clicking and I think that for someone that has never played something like this it is really helpful. I think the fairnest of the game was also really good, there were some enemies that were difficult to defeat but overall you will end up winning after a little struggle. I also really liked the graphics, it reminds me of Lego games, which are really fun to play, I liked the vibe that the game gave, like ancient and medieval, so I think everything pretty much combined and worked pretty well.
I would give the game a 7/10, I think it could have many improvements but I enjoyed playing it and I would keep playing in my free time to complete the game.
Today I will be listing the pros and cons of Ezmores Crystal, first I would like to critique the possible soft-lock that could happen when you encounter a new area on low health, leading to a non-escapable area where you are endlessly eliminated. Another one is the navigation due to its tracking to be very poor, you can often get stuck on something when hovering your mouse over a prop or a piece of terrain making you go places you didn't intend to. Next up is the UI, the inventory is very unclear and it only gives vague descriptions on what it does. Thirdly, the NPC dialogue is very difficult to read and could be adjusted to have a bigger font. and while attempting to interact with NPCs that sell things, the player often moves them instead of talking to them. Lastly the combat is very linear and can get repetitive, it could maybe have some more in depth mechanics such as blocking and dodging. Some positives are the charming design and art style and the retro game feel that the game brings and it helps that the game doesn't take itself to seriously. The in depth within the game is immaculate there are many things to do within the game and quests to take on. The combinations of kits you could make allows endless creativity on how you encounter enemies with the large variety of weapons and armor. My final review for this game is a 6/10.
Ezmores crystals was a fun and engaging game about medieval adventures with an interesting plot. Let's get on to the reviews, starting off with the positives. In the beginning, this game was a bit slow to start with, but later on got much more engaging. It got engaging because of all the new weapons, gear and features, which always make a game much more fun. Furthermore, this games graphics are really high quality and the game runs smoothly without any hiccups, or FPS drops. Now, onto the negatives. Though this game has a lot of positives, every game has its negatives. First of all, the movement has got to be the biggest problem of this game. The click to move movement is quite outdated. This movement commonly becomes problematic. For example, when talking to NPC's, with this movement you always push them around so it's hard to get them to stand still and talk to them, but that's 2 problems in one. Furthermore, another huge problem is soft locking. There are far too many parts of the game where you can easily soft lock yourself. Finally, there are parts where you can bug through walls when you haven't unlocked them yet. For my suggestion, I think that an option to pan your camera would be much needed because the camera controls aren't the best in this game. Overall, this game is a fun, adventurous and understandable, so an overall 7.5/10.
Ezmore’s Crystals is a fun adventure game, I enjoy the quality of this game, although there are some places that confused me, however there are some improvements that can make the game better. One of the confusing places is, I never know where to go after getting the quest, The front of the quest is quite small and the sprite that gave me the quest never told me where to go, also the map is so confusing for some people. Finding the quest on the map was super hard to find and see, sometime the map doesn’t even show the quest’s place. The background music of this game is really intense, it can make the game better and more fun. I like how the sound changes from the west Brickswood forest to the north Brickswood forest. I found that this game is easy and interesting for the beginner player, but the hardest part of this game is the control, you control the character by mouse it get ignoring when you try to get in some place and get stucks or the character get behind the tree and you can’t move. For the dialogue, whenever I walk through the characters/ NPC the dialogue would always restart even if I have already finished. It makes me a little ignored when I just want to pass though, for the dialogue I think the designer can add a background sound for the dialogue. Overall I rate this game 7.5/10
Ezmore’s crystals is a Lego style game that involves you doing quests. There are three difficulties, Peasant, Knight, and Lord. From what I could tell, each level would just increase the damage that monsters did. Unfortunately, I kept dying, so I don’t know too much about the game as I couldn’t get that far. There are some flaws to the game and some good things about it as well. I’ll start off with the game sound. The music in the background was actually quite fitting for this game. I saw some comments from people about the music not being the best, but I think they’re wrong. The only problem with the background music is that it's just 1 song looping over and over. It would be nice to have different songs played in different areas of the game. Or just different sound tracks instead of just 1 song. The rewards part was pretty good. You could get a few items from doing quests, so I feel like that was good enough. Next, I will talk about game graphics. This game felt like it was straight out of 2000s, and honestly to me that’s kind of a good thing. Yeah sure, they aren’t The Crew 2 graphics, but they are decent. Now for game mechanics. This is where I saw multiple flaws. Walking while using the mouse cursor was a NIGHTMARE. I would end up walking multiple times to other areas, and then it would break the walk cursor, and I’m unable to get out. Just please change the movement keys to WASD. Another thing was the fighting with mobs. There is no way for you to avoid the mobs, you just must deal with them. No matter how fast you click, you will always slash your sword at such a slow speed; it would be nice to fight faster depending on how much you click your mouse. I also don’t get why we need to be so close to mobs when we are using a bow. Furthermore, I played this game multiple times but never got my progress to save. I saw some other people got their game to save somehow, but mine never did!
Overall, this was fun, and I’ll probably play it in my free time (when I get a new 1 TB SSD, because mine is full...) Please take the flaws I mentioned and fix them; I would want to play this game on my own time, but I want those things to be fixed. And seriously, this game isn’t bad especially if it’s made for something like school (which I know most things done at school aren’t the best quality) So... If this game did have all those flaws I mentioned to be fixed, I would give it a 7.5/10. But for now, it's a 6.2/10. Great job on this game!
Ezmore’s Crystals was a fun and engaging adventure game! Some parts I liked about the game was how straight forward it was to attack the goblins and getting a direct reward of refilling the HP and sometimes getting a new weapon after killing the goblins, this aspect made it a fair and feasible game which gives you feedback after accomplishing a goal. Some parts that might need improvement on were the game mechanics. In games where the player needs to move back and forth, the player is usually controlled by the front, back, left, and right key, not the mouse. This made it hard to move when the player had to go backward but the pov did not change, it made escaping from the goblins very slow and not able to move while attacking the goblins, causing the fight to be a bit boring. It would be even better if I would be able to switch from a first person point of view to an omniscient point of view to see things clearer. Next, the navigation was not bad but the npc never provided a clear direction of the goal of the game, a prisoner was seen early in the game to make you think that the goal was to save him but villagers later said the player was going to save the village from the goblins so it distracts me to think that the goal was to kill all the goblins. It was a bit confusing but it was also a strategy the creator used to create mystery for the game. Parts of the game sound needed improvement such as that the npc should be able to say their sentence so the players don’t have to read it silently. I did encounter several glitches when talking to the npc and the dialogs could be clearer, especially when I can choose what I say. However, the game graphics were great throughout the game, especially the part after crossing the bridge and seeing the group of people near the river and shops, it looked like a real place and made the game more realistic. Overall, I rate this game a 7.5/10.
I found Ezmore’s Crystals to be a funny and pretty well-made game. The plot and dialogue stood out to me a lot. I liked how the world was a mix of Lego and 64-bit poly shapes, and how that was basically the entire plot. Unfortunately, some parts of the game were not as great, like how some quests dead-end and leave you wandering aimlessly. The NPC interactions are also a bit buggy, as I kept just pushing people when I tried to talk to them, and I repeatedly ended up talking to people when I’m just trying to travel. I liked how the final area was literally just some kid’s bedroom, which reminds me of the semifinal scene of The Lego Movie. I liked the character voices, the little easter eggs, and the jokes throughout the game, and the final boss is hilarious. I did find Ezmorelda’s Tower to be a little bit unfair, as sometimes enemies that fire homing shots would just appear far away, so you would have to tank damage just to get to them, which lowers your health and mana for the boss. To improve this game, I would put stats next to the items in the shop, as I bought stuff without knowing what it does, and I would string the quests together a little tidier, without random gaps in the early game. Overall, I liked the game, even if it is a little bit buggy and confusing sometimes, and I would rate this game 7 out of 10.
Ezmore's Crystals is an engaging and exciting medieval adventure game. I really liked all of the quests that the npcs gave you while you make yourself familiar with the surroundings. The graphics in this game are also a big thumbs up as everything looks so polished and neat and make it seem very realistic. One more thing I liked about this game is the items as when you kill an enemy, you have a small chance of getting a better item than the rest which makes you want to play the game more. Although, there are a tiny bit of downsides to this game as well like how sometimes you walk backwards when you click directly in front of your character. Another small issue in this game is the change to obtain studs when you kill an enemy as when I kill one, I mostly get no studs to purchase items in Studsville. One last issue in this game is there was a bug that when I go to talk to Ezmore after freeing him and getting the new quest, the dialogue I speak wouldn't disappear and would just stay stuck on my screen. Overall, this is a really fun game with its share of minor bugs. I rate this game an 8/10
My thoughts after playing Ezmore's Crystals are that overall, it is a fun, enjoyable game, when I was playing this game, it reminded me of a legend of Zelda Lego Star Wars mix which I found were great games. One of the mechanics that I liked the most was talking with the NPCs around the map. I liked the funny response and dan at studzville, although I did not get a chance to talk to everyone the people my favorite side quest so far was with the DM in the pub. I also liked how you added THE CREATOR and collecting gold. although I liked the NPCs quest it was hard for me to know where I was going, please add a quest marker so we know where to go. One thing that I wanted to be improved in the future was the bosses, there is nothing wrong with the fight scene but when I was fight the goblin boss, I saw all that yummy juicy gold sitting in the corner and when I killed the boss it teleported me back to studzville, honestly not worth for the green gem. Another thing that I would like to be improved was the camera, at times if I looked in a direction my camera would get stuck in a tree and I was stuck, I remembered that I was outside the caves when I saw the fisherman, I looked at him and my camera got stuck. This also ties in with movement, when I started it was hard for me to move backwards, and I had no idea that I could hold left click to move. To fix this please add a pan option to the camera. The last thing I wanted to be added is a MANUAL SAVE; I lost all of my progress one time, so I had to speedrun through the game, dying is such a pain even though I only died twice. Overall, I would rate this game 3.5 stars out of 5 or 7/10. I know I only talked about the bad things of this game it was super fun; I enjoyed a lot of the game and was a great experience. Would recommend.
Ezmore's Crystals is a good game, but somethings can break like you can walk through the fences by just running at them. When you load the game somethings can just not work like npcs cannot be there, enemies cannot drop items, etc. The game does have good graphics and sound. Somethings can be helpful like a "save & quit" option when closing the game and make health potions less rare. Other than that, the game is good sure somethings can be improved so I give it a 6/10.
Ezmore's Crystal pro's & con's list
pros:
easy to control
simple yet well made visuals
with a fair leveling system even on the hard-it's difficulty
con's:
every thing being a random drop meaning that's theirs very little progression
no real camera controls
the hard-it's difficulty being to easy
if you complete a area before you get the quest you get soft-locked and have to abandon it
the paladin destroying you ear drums if walk past him with less then full HP
drops just not spawning forcing a restart
overall:
personally i give this game a 4/10
it's not bad but the combat for me leaves something to be desired
Ezmore’s crystal is a fantasy combat game, in this review, we will explore the various aspects of the game, including gameplay mechanics, graphics, sound design, and the overall enjoyment. The game play of Ezmore’s crystal was easy to understand for a first-time user, using the mouse to guide the player allowed for an easy seamless experience without having to memorize any keys for movement. I enjoyed the use of letters to access inventory and found the letter’s chosen corresponded well with the actions I wished to do. The mechanics were smooths and I had no issues using or understanding any of the game mechanics. Visually Ezmore’s crystal does wonders for the story and immersing players into the game, the setting was recognizable for the genre, the environment felt natural for the world with a mix of flora that was familiar and unique. The characters had good detail, and I enjoyed the different looks of villagers, and monsters. I enjoyed the background music and felt it contributed to the overall vibe of the game, I like the voice acting for side characters and villagers but found the lines for the monster became quite repetitive over time. Overall, I enjoyed the game and would rate it and 9 out of 10 for being user friendly and having good graphics and a clear setting.
After a couple of days of playing the game “Ezmore's Christals” my thoughts on it is that it is a calm and easy adventure game about doing quests and fighting goblins etc. The things I liked about the game was that it was very easy to move around and to fight goblins along with a map, quests, and when talking to some of the people, they have sassy personalities. However, even with all those great things, there were still a couple of things that could be improved in the future. One of the things that could be added is a “help me” button with an explanation to the whole game as well as how and where to finish a quest. While playing the game I was having trouble with some of the quests because I was forgetting what I was trying to accomplish, and I think that way it would be a lot easier if there was a button there. Another thing that could be improved is either directions or some saying after finished the quests. While playing the game, and I was finished with the last quest, I then went to the person who gave me the quest to see what to do now and it gave me no instructions on what to do afterwards. I think it would be helpful if there was something that they would say to tell the player that you have finished all the quests because after that, I didn’t know what to do. Other than that, I think I will give this game a 7/10. It was entertaining and fun but for me it just wasn’t exactly the style of game I would usually play so that’s why I said 7/10 for an overall review.
Ezmore’s Crystals is a fun game, but there are some things about it that are annoying. It is hard to tell which NPCs can be interacted with since the ones that can need you to walk towards them by pointing and clicking. This is annoying because most of the time, I open the dialogue and instantly close it because I walked too far. It’s also annoying how you can push the NPCs while talking. What could make this better is to add an interaction key, so you don’t accidentally open it while running away from an enemy and make it so you can’t move while talking. It would also be nice to have a way to close dialogue. The auto combat system is unique to other games I’ve played before, but it’s not interesting to be standing still fighting enemies. This combat mechanic is a problem because sometimes I can get stuck being killed as soon as I respawn since I keep my low health. There is also a problem where you can walk against a door and go through it without a key. This isn’t an issue however as these areas need better gear. The quests are well designed though. They aren’t too difficult to do and help your progression. Overall, it’s a fun game, but there are some flaws that make the experience less fun. 7/10
Ezmore's Crystals is a fun and engaging adventure game. I really enjoyed this because game mostly because I thought it looks great and it gets the LEGO concept off very well, but either than the graphics I thought the game play was fun and enjoyable, I’m not an adventure game fan but this game definitely convinced me. The game was not perfect though at all times as there were many glitches, like for example when I loaded up the game just after dying my character was not there but there were enemies fighting nothing and I couldn’t move and eventually I had to restart all my progress, or the time that when I loaded into the game I had no health and the enemies spawned on me and killed me every time.
Another thing that I did not really like was the controls with the mouse because sometimes when I’m trying to run away from the monsters if I click my mouse on a spot there’s a chance that I won’t let me click there. I didn’t manage to come close to finishing the game but in the time that I did play the game I really enjoyed the story and the mystery behind the game, even though I didn’t play lots, the game always made me want to play more and it was always interesting, and it didn’t get boring because I had to find weapons and they were not just handed to me. So overall I really enjoyed this game and I would play it more, I’d give it an 8/10.
Ezmore’s crystals is a fun game that could be made all the less tedious if changes were made. Most of which lies in the interaction with the non-player characters. Obviously, I could point out the fact they aren’t stuck in place allowing for you to move them around easily. Which can be a fun thing to play around with if it didn’t lead me to be stuck on a bridge with Buckethead tediously trying to push him to the other side of the bridge, while also being forced to repeatedly engage in dialogue. Which also brings me to another issue, dialogue begins without your control. More often than not simply getting near another character causes them to play a line of dialogue I may have already 13 times before. I may simply be trying to get by and suddenly I find a menu of faces and hairs on my right. Yet when I am willing to purchase something, it may require more than a few tries since there isn’t a reliable and surefire way to start the dialogue. I may be wrong but if you accidentally pushed one of the merchants away from their post, you’d have to be on the specific spot in which you would meet them in their original spot, which has led me to confusingly searching around the stand trying to find a way to buy some pink pants. Having a button asking to start dialogue would be so much easier and would stop this game from occasionally feeling like I’m on an untrustworthy site constantly being met with popups. Another issue is also that not only can you move characters around, but you can still move during the dialogue. I was walking into studsville, and I walked by one of the guards who initiated a conversation, I was still moving around once he started speaking and suddenly a cutscene of one of the villagers took over my screen and now I had two things to deal with at once. I’ll also say that I, personally, don’t like the point and click controls. I think the option of keyboard controls would allow for a more comfortable and reliable movement, for me at least. It would also probably help with avoiding all the other complaints I’ve given. However, the big appeal of Ezmore’s crystals for me is simply traversing the map, killing gobbies and completing objectives, while you gain better weapons and outfits. There is also a lot of strategy involved as I have found myself at many points running back to studsville in need of healing as to not lose items I’ve gained. Sometimes I just might need to quit while I’m ahead in order to keep moving forward. The music is also very solid. While in studsville its fun and casual, yet while in Ezmore’s castle there is an eerie piano that really heightens the danger. There is one last thing I want to point out that may have ruined my playthrough. It's not exactly a major criticism due to how specific it is, and since its entirely my fault but I find it important to mention, nonetheless. There was one specific cave that I continued to struggle with due to how many enemies there were, I probably could have just left and done other objectives and return when I was stronger, but in my heart, I believed I could do it. So, I kept doing it over and, over again and, I kept dying over and over again. Till eventually I just started running away. Which was a terrible idea considering the crew of enemies chasing me and my incredibly low health but, somehow, I made it out the cave alive. Then it was time to go so I quit the game. When I came back, I found myself directly outside the cave and I thought it was saved from when I originally entered the cave and how I would respawn every time I died. Little did I know, I had next to no health, and little did I also know, all those enemies were waiting for me at the front of the cave. So, I died. I reloaded the game and I respawned at the front of the cave completely surrounded by enemies. So essentially, I’m currently stuck in an endless purgatory of being instantly killed every time I reload.
Ezmore’s Crystals is an adventure game about retrieving a wizard’s four lost crystals. Goblins have taken over the local village and you need to take back the land that once belonged to the former habitants. There are also lots of side quests to keep you busy for quite a while.
I personally enjoyed the music and how it fit with each section of the map you entered. For example, The North and South Brickwood Forest theme songs had completely different genres, yet felt so similar. The feeling of unity between the two tracks really brought the Brickwood Forest together as a whole. The village theme was also very peaceful, indicating they are humble vendors of items who don’t like to engage in conflict and combat. However, the sound effects felt a bit fake, especially the player hurt sound. It was a bit too high pitched and almost forced.
The storyline has good progression, especially the progressive quests. Each NPC with dialogue options feels like a real human, however, I think the dialogue with the best execution of this is the player dialogue. The player will get annoyed after a certain point, just like a real human would do after being sent on many deadly quests all for nothing but a bouquet of roses and a tiny dagger. It was also very funny to sit back and observe how peeved the player would get at each NPC.
The combat system has a few tweaks that I would love to see. Currently, the only means on combat is walking up to the enemy and waiting for the player character to finish battling the enemy. A simple but effective way to improve this could be to make it so that whenever you click on the enemy, you swing your sword. This means that combat wouldn’t be fully automated, but you would be in control of how the fight would go. Alternatively, I could see Ezmore’s Crystals having a turn-based combat system too. This would be much harder to implement than spam clicking, but I think it could be much more enjoyable and captivating to players.
Here is some miscellaneous feedback I have for the game. A new pause menu could be nice, since currently, the only pause menu we have is a button to hide the pause overlay and a button to quit the game. Adding a custom keybindings menu in the pause menu would be greatly appreciated. There is a way to change keybinds, but it’s through the game launcher itself, and having to reload the game each time you want to change a control is quite tedious and annoying.
I would prefer if the movement could be changed to WASD or arrow keys, since click to move isn’t very reliable. I have almost gotten soft-locked by standing behind a tree or arrow numerous times, and four-button movement can fix this issue.
Currently, there is no conformation for buying an item, and that can be especially annoying if you’re saving up to buy a very expensive item, but accidentally buy a useless item. Now, you have wasted 10 studs on something you don’t even need and must regain those studs back. An item conformation would fix this, even something as simple as a conformation text, a green “YES” button, and a red “NO” button would fix this issue for good.
Since you can create waypoints in the map, it would be helpful if NPCs would create waypoints on your map whenever they give you a location-based quest. Alternatively, you could be able to see past dialogue. Since I am quite a forgetful person, I often forget where the NPCs want me to go for quests. A dialogue history could help me remember what I needed to do and where to go to do it.
While I may seem like I am being very harsh on Ezmore’s Crystals, this is because I see genuine potential for it being a popular and bestselling game. It is very fun and has a fluid progression and the art style is something that brings me joy whenever I look at it. I rate this game a 7/10.
Ezmore's Crystals had me enthralled from the moment I entered Studsville.
Every part of the game, even all of the side quests, were incredibly enjoyable. The main reason I was engaged in the game so much was because everything had felt like it had a purpose. I won't say any specific quests, but it always felt like there was a reason to do everything. For example, I probably wouldn't be able to defeat a certain boss if I hadn't gotten the staff first. It was that kind of thing that made me engaged.
However, one thing I didn't like about the game was the movement and combat systems. The story was good, but having to go across the map by holding down the mouse was a real pain, and it often made me annoyed having to back and forth. A different movement system, like using the WASD or arrow keys would've made the experience a lot better. The combat system was the same. If the movement had been different, it could allow the player to simply click and swing their weapon anywhere. I died a few times because of how janky it was.
Overall, I would give Ezmore's Crystal's a 7/10. The storytelling was amazing, but the controls took away from the expirience a lot.
Ezmore's Crystals is a fun and engaging adventure game. The combat is simple as you direct your character to attack enemies, but since the character is automatically attacking, it can get a bit boring. The loot and items seem bland at first, but later on the loot gets better as you take on dungeons and obtain unique items that aren't acquired from the shop, for example the titanium great helm. The quests offered by the figures can get repetitive, but my favourite quest was working for the witch to slay the cyclops. The artwork is alright, I think it could've used more effort and not borrowed the Goblin King from the Hobbit.
Overall, it's a decent adventure game. Some ways that I think this game can be improved is adding a selling option. There are many items that are repeatedly obtained and selling those items instead would be better than getting rid of them since studs are hard to come by in already looted areas. The shops could use more items and gear for your character. I would love to have a kettle helmet like the guards. There are some figures that I can't talk to because my character continuously walks and pushes them, this might be a bug.
I would rate this game an 8 out of 10.
I really had fun playing Ezmore's Crystals because I really like adventure games and the game made it impossible to get bored because there were quests and new places to explore all around, I also liked how you can make changes to your character and get some free potions at the start to help you out. the quests were also very interesting and fun to complete since it took you from point A to Point B without having to go back and forth, the controls at the start was really difficult to figure out and to open up your inventory you had to press i not 1 so I kept pressing 1 because it looked really confusing, but other than that after I figured it out, it got really easy, except when it was a narrow space and I couldn't move because the trees were blocking the path so it showed an X when I was trying to go thru the path that I came from, plus sometimes you had to walk with your screen looking at your character walking so it was really difficult to see what was in the front but other than that, the map of the game had a lot of space and looked really cool, I think using WASD controls would be better and having the control to move your screen with the mouse so you can see the map a little better, after doing some quests, the game kind of got frustrating for me because I didn't know where I was going and there wasn't an arrow or anything to show, even in the map when I click the map I couldn't move anywhere of the map so I could see where that specific place or person is, so for a while I was just going in circles since I didn't know what direction to take and even if I did I would end up somewhere else I been to already. but other than that, the game was really fun and i had a great time playing and found the storyline really nice.
Ezmore’s Crystals game review
I couldn't have much fun from this game, but I enjoy the quality of this game.
I liked all the graphs in this game, water flow, trees, which is background, and NPC. I loved all the details. I could see the trees reflecting in the water, shade of trees, and pebbles on the road. I truly enjoyed seeing all the details and I knew it took a lot of time to create those details.
Not only all the graphs but also the sound I enjoyed. I am the person who does not enjoy hearing the sound while I am playing the game. Because I used to think that game sound distracting me. However, this game did not have many sound effects, and the background music matched the game atmosphere well. Furthermore, NPC each had a different voice, which made me more attracted to this game play. Therefore, <span class="NormalTextRun SCXW163123406 BCX0" <therefore,="" <="" span="">even though I couldn't have much fun, I would rate this game highly.</span>
I would like to recommend this game to my friend if my two suggestions are accepted. One of them is about playability. I usually do not enjoy survival games because I am not good at them. The easiest mode in this game was not easy for me. I struggled with this game because I did not know how to survive from org and goblins. I believe if players have a weapon such as sword in begging of the game start, it will help players to enjoy this game a lot easily. One another suggestion is to create a night mode and morning mode. Compared to Minecraft, monsters can only attack players at night. So, players can save their food, weapon, and time to prepare for the monster’s attack. If Ezmore’s Crystals add some night mode and morning mode, it will help players to play this game with <span class="NormalTextRun SCXW163123406 BCX0" <th<="" span=""> more fun. Overall, I will give this game 7/10. </span>
Ezmore’s Crystals is an incredibly engaging adventure game that never had me bored or unengaged. There is constantly something new to do, whether it’s a quest or combat. The sprites and objects are cleanly done, and you can play on full graphics quality with minimal interruptions or lagging. I have no complaints about the storyline or anything of the sort. I thoroughly enjoy how each quest leads to another, finally leading you to the main quest of the game, which is (spoiler warning), retrieving Ezmore’s crystals. However, this can prove to be a bit of an issue as well. Completing one side quest before the other by accident, or completing it before it has been formally assigned, can cause a bit of glitching throughout the game.
I enjoyed the map and navigation system, as it made it easy to find my way through the open world. The map did glitch out a bit, completely disappearing and leaving me to find my own way, but it wasn’t anything a quick reload couldn’t fix.
My next critique is the save points, or the lack thereof. While the game automatically saves before each domain and every time you go through a bridge or door, the game fails to tell you that it is saving and despite the tips in the loading screen, doesn’t explain the saving system at all. I would much rather there be manual saving accessed through the main menu, as I’m not a huge fan of having to play continuously until the next domain to save all your progress.
You also cannot switch from third person. Meaning, if an enemy is hidden behind a wall, or there is an object covering your camera, you cannot change your perspective to see it better.
I also am not a big fan of the point-click movement. While this preference depends on the person, I believe that WASD controls would be much more ergonomic, especially considering it is a very active game that requires near constant movement. NPCs are also not anchored in this game. You can easily push them around, which proves to be inconvenient. The NPC often gets in the way, so you accidentally interact with them, or they get in the way of waypoints or doors. Overall, I really enjoyed Ezmore’s Crystals. It proved to be a good time, and I had a good laugh at a lot of the character dialogue (especially the player’s sarcastic dialogue choices). I would definitely download it again and try playing on different difficulties. 3/5.
I really enjoy playing Ezmore’s crystals because it’s an adventure game. Basically, your character is a hero in the game, and you must save the people from the goblins, and you have to kill goblins. The graphics were fine. There was a map in the game that show the goblins and were are the character that you have to talk with and receive the tasks from them. the graphic of the characters was so clear and nice. The sound effects were so good, like the background sound was really matched to the game genre.
Sometimes it was so hard for me to control the character to keep walking because if you do something wrong, he might get stuck somewhere. For example, the character is running but at some point, he gets stuck in trees, and it is hard for you to take the character out of the trees. You have to move your mouse so many times until your character can get out of the trees.
When you start the game the game already gives you some stuffs like a poison that you have to use it to hill your health when you got hit by a goblin. And then after that you have to find the other stuffs by yourself.
So, at last, I like the game and I think it was a good game for people who love adventure games.
Ezmiore's Crystals is a really solid game, however there are some improvements I think could make the game even better.
I think it would be better if the game had WASD controls because it is quite hard to control where you want to go with the mouse since it can make you go somewhere you don't want.
NPCS (Non-playable-characters) Should be stationary as they can sometimes block your movement or make it so you accidentally interact with their dialogue.
When I accepted some quests, I didn't know where to go so quests should highlight a place on the map so you can know where it is near, after accepting the quest.
Items and accessories should also a stat description.
Overall the game is a 8/10 for me. Why?
The game is nice and simple and doesn't have really complicated tasks.
The graphics are overall great and have a lot of detail put onto them.
It also feels rewarding when you obtain new items and accesories.
Story could be a bit better, but I like the objective of collecting crystals and the overall idea of the game. Kind of reminds me of Zelda.
Ezmore's Crystals is a good adventures Lego game. The graphics and combat in the game are epic. The quests are interesting and fun. But at a point your quests go to a different level. It would be good if the game had (WASD) controls for walking and the mouse for 3d moving or spectating the characters. With the mouse controls the game is a bit hard to play, because i mostly play games like GTA, Forza, ETS, ATS, Farming Sim, and ETC. i am used to (WASD). The Game was a bit glitchy when talking to a person and when the conversation is over our character glitches for a moment and then he starts moving. The health bar Is runing out quickly. But that would make the game more intense.
Overall, this game is a very ambitious, creative game with an interesting story. Although the story itself and the progression is fun and rewarding, the actual interactions with enemies require minimal effort. The fact you need to click to move your character can get in your way often, as many obstacles can get in the way of your camera, and it makes you feel less in control. When first starting the game, I found it easy to get lost, as the only guidance you have is the map, that only shows major landmarks. I also ran into a glitch that did not spawn the girl when you initially start the game, which made progression extremely difficult. Even though movement itself may feel bad, the map is large and there is lots of side quests and content to explore. The progression is also not tedious, and as you progress with the story, your character also naturally follows, not needing any external leveling. The animations and the sprites in this game are stylistic and done cleanly, with no visible flaws. There are no negatives to point out about the sound design, as the music and sound affects all fit within the theme of the game. The story was engaging and easy to follow, yet I found the characters lacked realism in their dialogue. All in all, I found this game engaging, and found lots of objectives in the game. The game has some obvious flaws, and I've ran into glitches often, but overall, I personally enjoyed the game, and would play it again.
Ezmore Crystal is an amazing experience that demonstrates an adventurous and combat theme. This game's similarity is compared mostly to minecraft in which there is a different variety of weapons, heals, and tasks/quests you can complete while exploring the entire map. I love the background and realism to overall gameplay since it appears more detailed compared to pixelated. However, there are some features that could be enhanced such as the controls for the character. In my opinion I prefer to use arrow keys/ (WASD keys) instead of clicking the direction you would like to go. Overall, the gameplay is a fun and epic experience despite the confusion with certain controls and quests.
The game was enjoyable and the movement surprisingly smooth (both fighting and moving around). Gameplay is simple due to the combination of mouse and keyboard (mouse for movement and enemies; keyboard for inventory, map, objects). The music ties in well with the game and enriches it. I was taken pleasantly by surprise by the timed quest to find Dan, and unfortunately only found him after I failed the quest, but it did make running around town fun. The variety of weapons and appearance options made it very fun to pick and choose as well as to design my character while offering different boosts. I absolutely loved the dialogue choices as well.
I did run into a glitch: I was fighting an orc, and I was down to 0/280 health. I managed to kill the orc, and somehow avoided being killed while running around with 0/280 until I encountered another enemy. The gameplay was sometimes interrupted by dialogue if I walked too close to some NPC. Another problem was if the player walks too close to trees or if there are trees covering the player, it is hard to move as you get stuck and have to spend some time searching around the screen to find a spot to click on to get unstuck.
Overall, I give this game an 8/10 for the smoothness and simplicity of it. As well as the dialogue, but points taken off for the glitch and the interruption of the game by unprompted NPC dialogue and getting stuck easily.
Ezmore’s Crystals is a fun game. The storyline is very thorough and thought through. The tap to move controls makes for a simple, but effective user interface. Although, it does prove to be difficult with the camera angles, as you cannot move the camera and can only control where your player moves. The third person Lego based characters are well designed, and the multiple maps are detailed and large. The quests are fun, creative, and simple.
Although, there are some difficulties. For example, my player’s health went all the way down to zero and he did not die. If your health is low, and you cannot get to town and have no health potions, it is very difficult to restore health and progress in the game because you will keep getting killed if you cannot avoid the goblins. I feel like the players should revive with more health because they respawn with barely any, so it is easy to die again. Overall, Ezmore’s Crystals is a solid 8/10.
I think its a good games beside some of the bugs like you can walk thought a fence in Studsville or if you run away after you talk to someone then you have to keep talking to them but Ezmore after I try to keep talking to them I does not work it won't let me talk to him but I did not find much other bugs in the game to other Lego games I have played it is different because in most of the other ones I have played you are doing missions and you don't have to talk to people to get them the tasks the graphics are pretty good <span class="NormalTextRun SCXW219652830 BCX8" <they="" are="" not="" the="" best="" <="" span="">I have not seen but it a fun game I am not the best at adventure games but I think it is a good game</span>
The adventure game Ezmore’s Crystals is an entertaining game with engaging characters. It provides great interaction and amazing graphics. The animations shown are fantastic and add to realism, along with the adventure music added. This game is entertaining though could still be improved in other ways.
First, the given graphics in this game are well presented. All characters are well shaded and show contrast which creates realism to the game. The surroundings are well made with different textures, adding to the realism of the game as well. The water has great reflection and has good movement, which portrays real-life water. The character also has a lot of depth and has great animation even when just standing. The character looks more realistic with the animation created. Talking about animation, the game provides great movement with the characters. All characters have good animation when it comes to running, standing, attacking, etc. I like how the surroundings are animated as well. For example, when the grass sways according to the wind. Animated surroundings are a great addition to the game. I also enjoy the fact that the goblins and the hero itself fall dramatically when dying. The effects of this game are also great. Weapons, like the bow and arrow have good effects. When the arrow hits the goblins, it simply shows the knockback, which I like. However, I wished there were more effects when they attacked each other, for example, a “swoosh effect”. The character falling when dying is great, but it could be more dramatic if an effect was implied. Like an ashes effect, or the character slowly fades.
The interface of this game is good. The idea of having to talk to other characters gives good engagement. The different options of answers when responding to their favors are amazing addition. It’s good to give the player a choice when it comes to taking missions in. The random tips when going to different places or dying are a nice addition to the game as well. It lessens the boredom of the player when waiting. The map was very helpful when doing the missions. It certainly helps the players get around. However, I wished it would be more detailed when zooming in. The missions provided are interesting and vary in difficulty. Which is good for both beginners and experts. It is nice that there are shops in the town. Having shops for different clothing, potions, weapons, and others is a good touch to the game. It makes players want to do more missions to buy this stuff. I am glad there are rewards to the game, because it provides motivation for players to play. The inventory was easy to access as well, and it was easy to equip gear. But I hoped the quest in the journal was more descriptive on where to find or go because it was quite easy to forget the missions that were given. The sound created more suspense and was interesting. It was a perfect soundtrack for an adventure game. Lastly, the controls were manageable. It was easy to learn but I wished it was WASD for controlling the character. Because it would be easier for players to switch weapons or drink potions during a fight.
Overall, this game is fantastic. It is well made and easy to learn. The graphics are the best and animated well. The objective is great and easy to do. The different difficulties provide more depth to the game which creates interest for other players. I would rate this game 8.9/10, only because of the controls. My preferred controls are WASD, so using the mouse to move was quite disappointing for me.
"Ezmore's Crystals" uses a drag-and-drop inventory system and simple point-and-click movement and combat, making the game easy to pick up, which is perfect for a beginner like me. The game features LEGO-style character designs and low-polygon environments, creating a unique and charming visual effect. Dynamic lighting effects enhance the immersion, giving it a feel that is both retro and modern.
Improvements that could be made include the reliance on mouse clicks for movement and combat, which might be inconvenient for players used to WASD or arrow key controls. Additionally, the map symbols are unclear, making it sometimes difficult for me to figure out where to go next. The limited perspective also causes movement issues when objects obstruct the view. Despite these issues, the overall experience is still worth trying. I would rate it 7/10.
Ezmore Crystal offers an engaging adventure experience with its realistic graphics and diverse gameplay mechanics. The game keeps players entertained with a variety of tasks and rewards, ensuring a dynamic experience with each completed objective. However, while the game provides ample challenges and opportunities for progression, there are aspects that could be improved to enhance the overall gameplay experience. The sound and graphics in Ezmore Crystal are undoubtedly impressive, immersing players in a visually stunning and audibly rich gaming environment. The attention to detail in the landscapes, character designs, and ambient sounds enhances the overall immersion, making every moment feel vivid and lifelike. The game's storyline unfolds gradually, introducing players to a richly crafted world filled with intriguing characters and lore. From noble heroes to cunning villains, each character adds depth and complexity to the narrative, compelling players to uncover the secrets of Ezmore Crystal's universe.
Personally, I find Ezmore Crystal to be a captivating adventure game that offers a satisfying blend of exploration, combat, and puzzle-solving. The high-quality visuals and immersive sound design contribute to an enjoyable gaming experience that keeps me hooked for hours on end. While Ezmore Crystal excels in many areas, there are aspects that could be refined to enhance the overall gameplay experience. One notable improvement would be to offer alternative control schemes, such as using the WASD keys for movement instead of relying solely on mouse clicks. This adjustment would streamline navigation and improve player control, especially for newcomers to the game.
In conclusion, Ezmore Crystal stands out as a compelling adventure game with stunning visuals, immersive sound design, and engaging gameplay mechanics. While there are areas for improvement, such as refining the control scheme, the overall experience is enjoyable and rewarding for players seeking an immersive gaming experience.
Ezmore's crystals review -->
I think the game is fun although there are some things that confused me, and that I did not understand.
One of these things is, I never understood where to go when I got a quest, I could see the list in the upper right corner of the game interface, but the sprite that gave me the quest never told me where to go, or it did not make sense. Finding the quest on the map was super hard to find, and I couldn’t quite remember what to do for each one since my quest list was quite big at this point.
There we times that I went through a gate, and it saved my checkpoint, but after I spawned in the next area after it saved, the map was not on the screen and the ‘M’ button would not work. I wasn’t sure what to do as I had to completely close the game to get it back.
For character look, the design is good, I like how they are like Lego characters.
There were a lot of things that I also enjoyed within the game, like how I could change the look on my character, I could buy pants, tops, hair, faces, which I enjoyed, and thought was fun. One downside to this is that I moved the vendor standing there with my own character, and then I could not buy clothes until I left the area to get the vendor sprite back into place.
Controls: There were some things about all the controls that I liked and some things that I didn’t and that confused me. One of the things I liked was that to open things like the map, it was clear that you needed to use ‘M’ to open it. Or for the inventory, it was ‘I’ to open it, which was easy, understandable and clear. One thing that I wasn’t so sure about was moving the character. Must hold down left click or click to where you wanted to go using your mouse was harder, as I was on one side of a tree, and I had to turn around to go the other way as it wouldn’t let me squeeze through grass. It would be much better if you used W, A, S, D, or the arrow keys.
Overall: Overall I liked this game and would play it again despite some of the things I found confusing. Killing all the goblins was very understandable and made sense, I rate this game a 6,5/10.
The controls are very simple, but intuitive. The common point and click to move, letter and number keys to access things like inventory, weapons, and actions like potions and spells. I liked how simple and intuitive the controls for the spells and the potions were, giving them easy access and yet still not nerfing the difficulty of the game.
You play in third person, and while the point and click is charming, reminiscent of older or nostalgic adventure games, it does get frustrating at times as objects can easily softlock you, even if there seems to be a way around it. This happens most often when going through paths with sharp turns in wooded areas. It takes a little bit of clicking everywhere to eventually get out of it.
The camera angle also poses a problem when fighting or approaching enemies. Sometimes when the environment changes, the camera doesn’t change to the direction the character is facing but the front and blocks out the view of incoming enemies. This is especially frustrating when the enemies have projectiles or bows. A similar problem arises when you’re in studsville. It’s hard to maneuver the camera to be able to talk to a specific npc in the market area because the camera stays one angle and doesn’t allow you to see what you’re clicking on since something is the in front of the lower half of the screen, such as a market stall. This could probably be fixed by implementing WASD or a way to move the camera angle.
Enemies begin at a good difficulty level, but quickly after you get to studsville and collect items through items dropped by enemies and level up, the enemies no longer become much of a challenge. The Orc (or Oger? I forgot what it was) was a good example of a challenging battle that was pretty interesting, although the attacks and fighting style were relatively the same to the rest of the enemies apart from the projectiles which were fun to dodge. I wouldn’t’ve liked more miniboss/boss battles but rather more different enemies with different skill sets and difficulties. That’s not to say fighting enemies was completely boring. There were still plenty of interesting battles, like the one where you rescue Ezmore the wizard from the tower, and the spider king are the ones that I can remember but I’m sure there were many more. Combat could be more skill based, but it is not bad on its own.
After a while the game does become a bit grindy which is one of my issues with it.
I really liked the story. It was all over the place sometimes and I kind of enjoyed that, as it was genuine and fun. The map was charming in its aesthetic and simple style, and environments were populated that made them fun to explore. Despite several of it's flaws, it is a solid game I wouldn't mind playing again to kill time. 7/10
This game has a very thought-through storyline but how you get to it is a bit more complicated. When I played it I would constantly get stuck and trying to figure out where I needed to go was hard which could be improved by giving a bit more direction with waypoints. Getting places is a bit tedious especially if it's far away since there is no teleportation to get to places faster. When running those long distances it's hard, you'll keep trying to use WASD instead of the mouse since that's how games usually work on computers. I feel like this game would work better on a phone or something that is based on touch screen but when it's on the computer it's weird to get used to.
This game has a variety of enemies but is mostly based on goblets. The progression of the weapons and how good they are compared to how good the goblins are is very uneven sometimes. Playing the game, you'll see that when you come across an enemy, they'll either be too strong for you or a bit challenging to get through without having health potions. When it comes to health potions you don't get them enough for the number of times you're getting hit. Eventually, you'll just die because of how little health you have compared to how many potions you have. The challenging aspects can be fun, but it gets a bit laborious when it's repeated. Overall, the game is fun, and it does reward you when you do good things which is very helpful for motivating the player.
Ezmore’s Crystle's Game Review:
To me, this game was quite fun. I liked how some of the quests were hard to complete, which made it frustrating and interesting. I like the different looking characters and how each of them had different personalities and tasks to offer. I also like how the character we play also has a personality themselves and that we also have our options open to either accept or decline someone. I also like the fact that we can customize our characters look as we are proceeding and defeating enemies throughout the game. And when you die in the game, you can come back with all your stuff still in place is also something, which is another thing I liked about it.
All of these were the good parts of the game, but there were some parts I did not really like. The controls were a bit hard for me, although it might be just because I am used to playing this way, but I would prefer it if the character were to be walk around with the controls AWSD. I think it would be a good option if there were a way to go to settings and have options to choose in which way, we can control the character. Another thing I was struggling with was the first quest. I decided to walk around and explore without knowing that if I do not complete the first task, I will not be able to get my first healing potion and be able to survive throughout the entire game. I suggest that in some way, they make that clear in the game and that we do not have to die repeatedly.
Overall, I would say this game was amazing and I would definitely play it again.
